The Cayrum recipe was born in the Kane family home in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. One day, we decided to share this recipe with the rest of the world. Since then, every batch of Cayrum has been blended on the island at the hands of our Master Rum Blender, Victor Eugenio. Victor has been crafting rum for many years, making him a key figure in the development of many premium aged rums, including Cayrum. His expertise turned our family tradition into science.
Our hands on process is what makes Cayrum more than just another rum. After aging for three years in used Kentucky bourbon barrels, our specialty blend is infused with honey and fresh hand sliced ginger from the mountains of the Dominican Republic. This lively combination gives Cayrum a versatility for sips, shots, or mixers; after all, Cayrum isn’t just rum, it’s rum reawakened.
