So Mike. Tell us about yourself!

I have been a bartender at the best bar in the world, The Cheetah, since just before the Olympics came to Atlanta. I got married just before turning 40, and am married to the best woman in the world. Super happy to be free during the daylight doing anything outside, with the wife, dogs, bikes, boards…

Sounds pretty idyllic. How did you get into bartending?

I ran out of commission checks from my previous marketing management job while sleeping on my buddy’s couch, so I had to get a job supporting my carefree lifestyle back in the day.

So what is your favorite drink to make?

Definitely, without a doubt, To Hell You Ride!

Great answer. And your least favorite drink?

A Mojito. Hard to find the time to muddle with a busy bar.

What’s the craziest thing a patron has ever said to you at the bar?

“Does this ever get old?”

Last but not least: spicy or sweet?

I don’t want to be labeled. Too restrictive…

We respect that. Anything else you want us to know about you?

In the immortal words of Ferris Bueller… “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

Thanks a bunch, Mike (and Ferris). Be sure to check out The Cheetah, located at 887 Spring St NW in Atlanta, GA!

And how could we forget about Mike’s go-to Cayrum Cocktail
